Présentation
La peinture, la photographie et le collage sont au centre de mon travail.
J'utilise des cartes géographiques, je peins, je crée des montages numériques et détournements cartographiques pour interroger notre regard sur le monde, sur son histoire mais aussi sur les défis et les grandes questions qui le traversent.
L'appropriation de cartes ou bribes cartographiées fait naître des lieux à explorer, offerts à notre réflexion ou notre imaginaire.
Ils sont parfois à la dérive, ils se disloquent, se désagrègent, se font et se défont à l'image d'un monde aux mouvements incertains et chaotiques.
Les cartes que j'utilise peuvent être aussi de simples supports graphiques où formes et couleurs s'invitent et s'immiscent. Ces peintures s'ouvrent alors à d'autres voyages pour un oeil curieux et scrupuleux.

Painting, collage and cartography are at the center of my artistic activity. I imagine montages and diversions of maps to question our view of the world, the aesthetic of its configurations and the questions that run through it: History, geopolitics, climate...
The appropriation of maps and fragments gives birth to places to explore, offered to our reflection and our imagination. They are sometimes adrift, broken, disintegrated, they are made and unmade like a world in uncertain or chaotic motions.
My cartographies are sometimes inhabited: human evocations, alone or in groups, travelling through a revisited world. Maps can also become simple graphic supports. Shapes and colours are inviting to other still journeys.
